*Prices are per person and include the current cruise fare, and port charges. A participation fee of 25€ per person will be added to each booking. A service charge of 101,50 USD per guest will be debited by the cruise line onboard at the end of the cruise. Any shore excursions, specialty ship dining, drinks, as well as onboard services will be charged separately. There are no hidden fees or expenses. We accept bank transfer payments in EUR only.

– access to the Digital Detox Cruise group’s private activities
– onboard Digital Detox Cruise representative on-call 24/7 in case of emergency ashore

– water park, climbing walls, mini-golf, and other outside activities

– service charge: 14.50 USD per person, per day or 17.50 USD per person, per day for those staying in suites. The service charge will be debited by the cruise line onboard at the end of the cruise.

– all drinks beyond the ones mentioned above (in the Buffet)

– onboard specialty dining a-la-carte restaurants and some venues (Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, Teppanyaki, Chop’s Grille, Izumi, Wonderland, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade)
– use of the FlowRider surfing, RipCord by iFly, SkyPad bungee trampoline, North Star capsule observation space, bumper cars, trapeze classes
– WiFi (if needed in emergency situations)
– fares do not include items of personal nature, such as spa treatments, salon services, photographs, telephone calls, laundry, or any other goods or services purchased on board the ship.

Booking & Payment

Partial Deposit of 50€ will be due at the time of your reservation. To join a cruise, you must send us a booking request by clicking on the “Book Now” button and transfer the payment on-line. Upon receiving both of these, we shall reconfirm space availability and pricing. You will then be sent your Cruise Booking, along with pro-forma invoice for a Full Deposit Payment of 200€ per person. The Partial Deposit can only be transferred on-line by credit/debit card in EUR. The Full Deposit Payment can be paid by bank transfer in EUR only (please, make sure you cover the associated bank transfer fees).
After receiving both Partial Deposit and Full Deposit Payment you will be sent an invoice for the amount paid, and you will be included in the group.
The Balance Payment is due 60 days before the date of embarkation (by May 10th, 2021). By May 5th, 2021 we shall email you a pro-forma invoice with the remaining amount due. Again, the remaining Balance Payment can be paid by bank transfer in EUR only.

3rd & 4th Passengers

The cost for 3rd and 4th passengers in a stateroom is: 649€/person in an interior stateroom; 719€/person in an ocean view stateroom, and 852€/person in a balcony stateroom or junior suite. A participation fee of 25€ per person will be added to each booking.

Age Restrictions

Passengers must be 18 years of age or older on the date ship embarks. Passengers who are between the ages of 12-17 are allowed to sail only if they are accompanied by an adult 18 years of age and booked in the same or adjoining cabin. Guests who are 11 and under are not permitted on our cruises.


If for some reason you cannot participate in the cruise, you can cancel your Booking by simply sending an email to unplug@digitaldetoxcruise.com. We strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance from a provider in your home country, which will offset the risk of losing funds.
The following conditions apply to Cancellations and Booking Changes:
> 60 Days: 225€ per person is withheld as cancellation fee
59 – 45 Days: 40% of the total cruise price is withheld as cancellation fee
44 – 30 Days: 50% of the total cruise price is withheld as cancellation fee
29 – 8 Days: 75% of the total cruise price is withheld as cancellation fee
7 – 0 Days: 100% of the total cruise is withheld as cancellation fee
Any changes to an existing reservation made up to 60 days of sailing are subject to a €80 per person surcharge.
Changes to an existing reservation made within 60 days of sailing are subject to a €150 per person surcharge.

Travel Insurance

We do not provide insurance with your Cruise Fare. You must have sufficient insurance covering health, travel and accident.
If it were our choice, every guest would purchase an additional trip insurance. Your investment for the cruise should be protected, so we urge you to purchase one. Please remember, restrictions do apply, so you should apply for the insurance in a timely manner.

Travel Documentation and Visas

We strongly recommend that all guests travel with a passport valid for at least six (6) months after the end of the cruise.  This greatly assists guests who may need to fly out to meet their ship at the next available port should they miss their scheduled embarkation and guests needing to fly to a port before their cruise ends because of medical, family, personal or business emergencies, as well as missing a ship’s departure from a port of call, involuntary disembarkation from a ship due to misconduct, or other reasons.
We cannot be held liable for insufficient visas. You must research if you need a visa for the European Union and/or other destinations we may visit along the respective itinerary.
Cruise Ticket
You will be able to download immediately your Cruise Ticket (SetSail Pass) from the Royal Caribbean’s site, once you have paid in full for your Digital Detox Cruise Holiday, and registered on-line (on the Royal Caribbean’s site). Please, print out your SetSail Pass for check-in at the Cruise Terminal.

Onboard Account

To open up an Onboard Account, the cruise line requires that you register your credit card (accepted credit cards are VISA, MatserCard and American Express).
Guests who do not register their credit cards will be asked to provide a deposit to cover their onboard expenses within 24 hours of embarkation. The minimum deposit will be 200 euros per person. If onboard expenditure exceeds the deposit, a further deposit will be requested. Total expenditure will be calculated at the end of the cruise and, if applicable, Guests will be refunded what remains of their deposit.
Debit cards, prepaid cards, top-up cards and VISA Electron, Postpay, Bancomat, Postamat and Cirrus Maestro cards are not accepted.

Private Daily Onboard Meetings

Private daily meetings will be scheduled for those guests who have decided to stay onboard and have not joined other public activities. They will have the option to exchange plans and find buddies for various activites.

Shore Excursions

We do not organize a single shore excursion for the entire group for each day ashore. Instead, we open up a private Facebook group a month before departure for guests to have a discussion and exchange plans about the different options they have researched in advance.
Everyone is free to explore a destination on their own, join a Digital Detox shore excursion group, participate in the day’s activities onboard the ship, or do nothing at all. All shore excursion groups are organized by volunteer group leaders from among the members/participants in our private Facebook group prior to the cruise (please, check for current prices and availability with the person who has initiated a group trip). When you decide on a new activity, check on Facebook if anybody is already trying to form a group for that same experience. If you are the first to do so and would like to attract new fellow companions to join you, share your suggestion in the FB group.
IMPORTANT: After a day ashore, please, plan to be back onboard about one hour before the scheduled ship departure time for the next port of call. If you are late and miss a departure, you will be expected to re-join us at another destination along the itinerary and do so at your own expense.

Minimum Number of Staterooms

In an unlikely event of 18 or fewer staterooms booked, the Digital Detox Cruise representative will not be able to join the group. All current Bookings will remain valid, and the guests will travel in a group as originally planned.


Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to impose a fuel supplement on all guests if the price of West Texas Intermediate fuel exceeds $65 per barrel. The fuel supplement of 1st and 2nd guests would be no more than $10 per guest per day, to a maximum of $140 per cruise per guest; and for additional guests would be no more than $5 per person per day, to a maximum of $70 per cruise.



Spectrum of the Seas is a sister-ship to the newly built Odyssey of the Seas (both being part of the Quantum Ultra-Class ships of Royal Caribbean)
